What a nite to remember :D

Event: Annual Concert cum Graduation of Phileo Kiddies Land

Main Star: Nicholas Tan - 5 years old

Main Event: Best K1 Student 2008, 2nd Position Throughout The Year 2008 & Pertandingan Menulis Bahasa Malaysia 2008.



It was a proud moment to see your child to go up to the stage to take these prizes. After numerous sleepless nights, waking up crying, headaches/migranes complaint by Nicholas, the results were very worth the while..or was it too young to have such a pressure for a 5-year old.



Rewards: A book from Mrs Ang; Some sweets from Teacher Lu; Movie @ Sunway Carnival Mall's GSC - Madagascar 2; Unlimited rides/games at Playland; Trip to Batu Feringghi beach with little brother Jay and cousins Alex & Darren.

Big Apple Donuts & Coffee

Selamat Harii Raya everyone!!

Went to recently openned Big Apple Donuts & Coffee @ Jaya Jusco Seberang Perai, Penang. We ordered Chocoring, Chocoholic, Manggo Tango, Kimochi, Choconuts & Special Sauce.

Its like eating air..not that i'm complaining :D One could eat half dozen easily with its softness..Mmmmm

Just look at the long queue to justify the goodness..MmmmMmmm

Nine Emperors

Nine days of strict vegetarian diet to 'cleanse sins' begins on 29.09.2008 till 07.10.2008. That's right..no meat, no eggs, no sesame, no garlic, no meat.... Stalls set up like mushrooms almost everywhere with yellow banners.

Went to pray at Malaysia's biggest Nine Emperors' Temple..newly renovated @ Jalan Raja Uda, Penang.

Followed by mom, carrine, nicholas & jay. Nicholas got 1 minor burn..joss stick ash drops to near the chest. Cry like baby..kesian :( Jay enjoyed the whole experience..even bow when the big gong is rang :D

Have requested for "something" and if successful, will donate a bag of rice for next year's celebration :D

Remember This

It's a thin slice of Mengkuang as big as our palm, with a spread of Rojak paste and generously sprinkled groundnuts..RM1.00. Taste like heaven, even back in the 70s (RM0.20), usually consumed after coming back from the school with a cold glass of Assam drink..syiok ah!

Not many fruit sellers are selling this..think its too time consuming. But managed to find one in the remaote area of Bayan Lepas..heheh.

First Car

We bought this car in the year 2000, but sadly it had to be sold. Mainly its due to the high maintenance cost and petrol price increase. Also had an experience where the brake won't work during 30km/h drive...but manage to stop at a traffic light..panic panic phew phew. The mechanic couldn't find anything wrong with the brakes..must be some signals from somewhere or someone..hmmm

Other than the experience, its all good.........

Sad feelings is to be overcome. New feelings is to be filled in by this baby...Bentley Phantom :D

Efficient..Productivity?

This is to show that we need to employ AT LEAST 4 person to collect the heavy coins in the parking meter.

Such hard work is distributed with the following task; 1 person opening the meter & make sure the meter is not closed; 1 person collecting the heavy coins from the meter to the mobile collector; 1 person pushing the heavy mobile coin collector; and 1 person to make sure that the meter is open, the coin is collected, the mobile collector is pushed.

This does not include the parking meter repairman; whom always come and repair the meter after you PARK the car and go to work. Not forgetting the parking authorities (comes in pairs on a bike); whom always come to summon your car soon after the faulty meter is repaired.

Come to think of it, the summons collected is to pay the salary of the 4-6 staffs involved..
