Lately, I just noticed that the Penang's bus stops are getting some major "make over".. to be better or worse, you will be the judge.
These are not taken at different street or district, but from two major road arteries in Penang mainland..some are just across the road, and the design are different.
Winner: Modern look or the Simple look..
Flindstones mix with paint at the Bottom look..
Posters on Paint lines look..

When you actually look the surroundings that the bus stop is, it actually kind of blend in. The blue one on the first match the blue behind it, and the stones one actually signify the kampong behind. and so on la. So I think the MPPP designer is looking at the surroundings behind to blend in.
Phew.. and I thought the designers just sat in the comfort of their office and approve stuffs LOL
